City of Beginning

Hey guys, welcome to my pretty, brand new musebox! A musebox (in my definition) is a private place for role play, where there are no real rules, and you can do anything you like! It's a place to test out new muses, spam memes, or just have fun with friends!

Though I said no real rules, I want to have a few policies in place. Just simple, logical ones.

1. Be polite to everyone. That should go without saying, really. We should know most of each other here, but if we don't, well, be friends! :D
2. Try to be in character for most of the time. I'm not a big fan of crack, so I'd appreciate if we all tried to stay in character. That said though, if there's a post or meme that calls for crack and silliness, I'm not against it! :D
3. If something offends you on this musebox, you may contact me, and I will take the appropriate action, depending on the situation.

That's pretty much it for rules. The next topic will be setting. Most museboxes don't have a setting, I think, but I gave mine one. You can choose to ignore the setting if you are test running for games, or posting memes, or have a really good idea you want to RP, but if you're fresh out of ideas, use the setting to help you make a post!

The Setting

This setting comes from my own stories that I've made up with my OCs. This is the City of Beginning, a huge city that covers the entirety of the planet it is on, and one of the many cities that the Planeswalkers, a society of world-hopping beings, inhabit. It is the starting point for all new Planeswalkers, and here, you can find many different buildings and people.

It has been designed to reflect all sorts of times and cultures, so in one section of the city, you may find flying cars, techno music and all round advanced technology, but in another, it could be Meiji era Japan, with samurai, swords, and wooden buildings. Anything your imagination can come up with, it's probably there!

In particular to note is the commencement building, where new Planeswalkers must first go to have their abilities tested, and then a mentor assigned to them, the training centre and the hospital, which both utilize the most advanced technology Planeswalkers have encountered so far. Living areas are scattered, so you can choose any era and culture to live in.

All sorts of beings are Planeswalkers, from dogs and cats, to fairy demons and aliens, to normal highschoolers or rich CEOs. The society is governed by a council, which is separated into three parts. Each part consists of eleven members, and they each represent the most abundant race in the society: humans, mythological creatures, and animal/irregular creatures. They are not located in the City of Beginning, so you don't have to worry too much about them.

To become a Planeswalker, one must first be chosen. Then, if they accept, they are to forgo all their bonds and connections to the world they previously lived on. Thus, their world will forget he or she ever existed there.
