He's a little uncertain of where he should be looking - he's checked most of Axl's usual hiding places, and found nothing - but the scratch of metal on stone is more than enough to give his target away.
"Huh," he murmurs, heading towards the noise. It's somewhere Axl hasn't hidden before, but it's not really a new thing.
He crouches, using his scythe as a balancer as he peeks into Axl's hiding place.
"You had me a little worried with your games, kid," he comments, but his tone is a bit forced. It's such a subtle waver that only someone who knew him well would pick it up, and if anyone knows him well, it's Axl. "If you needed some alone time, you could have just asked."
He peers at him curiously, but as always, he leaves enough room for Axl to keep his personal space, to move if he wants. Red never crowds him. "Something on your mind? You've been distant."
